Using Google Earth

Kimber is pleased to introduce a revolutionary way of looking at a mineral property.

By downloading Kimber's 'placemark' file below, you can fly over the Monterde claims, get a feel for the topography, research the locations of more than 400 drill collars, check out the published drill intercepts, and much more.

• To begin, you need to have Google Earth installed on your computer. Kimber provides a brief tutorial on getting started with Google Earth.
• Once Google Earth is installed, download Kimber's Monterde Placemark File
  What does the colour of the drill collar icon indicate?
  • Red icons indicate the latest drill results released.
  • Dark Blue icons indicate recent drill holes that have not yet been included in a resource estimate.
  • Light Green icons indicate drill holes that have already been included in a resource estimate.

The image above shows the Monterde from above. The Carotare deposit is on the left and the Carmen deposit is on the right. Each coloured dot represents a drill collar. Dark blue dots indicate drilling that has not yet been incorporated into any resource estimate, and light green dots indicate the location of drilling already incorporated into a resource estimate.
